caregroup was fun (:
everyone was so cute! you release the kids in them by just placing them in the playground.

we made them go run around j8 and buy food items and find their way to their quiet playground. i enjoyed myself. haha. i think my cg is super cute when they run ard in the playground. and we formed a line, walk around the playgrd, and praise. like His children. ahh.

went to meet ber n xin after cg. went to nafa's ignite! graduation show. got lost halfway though. so now my leg's breaking, and i have naPfa tml. : / anw i think the shows great. at least three quarter of it lah. we made a stunning discovery! the chicken animation, singing abt the avian flu, the one that made me laugh like mad, is made by nafa students!

quite an eyeopening lah. never been to a grad show before. its commendable that everything is so "handmade" and close to the students' heart. if i see my friend's name stuck on the booth, i will be so proud of her/him.

so after the two galleries, me n xin went into our routine- whining and blaming each other for going to the show. cause we get all green-eyed. tsktsk. we will start saying will never go to such things again, and in a few months, going thru the same routine. : / we feasted on fishnco.'s fudgecake and chips and headed home.

oh yah. yesterday, when i was suppose to be studying literature techniques, i felt super nostlagic and went through some of the postcards and letters. laughed over them, esp xin's postcards. ahha, i miss yr crap, wongci. and that very special letter from ber, after all the stuff at guides.

shall write bout last sunday. went to watch burn the floor with my sis n brother in law. i think the cast did a good job, with an especially aesthetically appealing scene. the dancers stretched from the left to the right of the verysmall stage and the lightining n everything was just super for that scene. then had nydc and finally overcame a childhood phobia of cheesecake. lol.

the worst thing i can rmb eating is pregnant fish. yah, its all in the mind, but i cant stand eating the fish with the eggs still in the stomach. >_< i thought that my mum fried fish with egg (yah, i know, sostupid. i was young innocent and cannot cook then what. i still cant cook lah) but i realised its a pregnant fish. ahhhh.

i forgot to mention this. just about 3 weeks ago, my class was celebrating our birthday, 040406. had nice cakes and food (thankyou nicky, meiching etc). kind of nice of them lah, heehee.

this day started horrid, but it ended with a blast.

its metamorphosis three, and we were supposed to have three new Bs coming.
but somehow, somewhat, we ended with none.
and so we skipped the first part of meta and did evaluation instead.

ANYWAY. anti-climax. im seriously pertubed by all the brothers returning botak. army steals hair. they should donate it to make wigs for cancer patients.. think can save money.

then had a mini praise session. after it ends, i was super high. because pam n me were going to get our marks n spencer chocolate. after we ate 2 bites off the bars yk bought for his dear sheep, we fell in love. with the chocolate : D and then cong was asking to go cut hair. i love chopping off hair. sp, in my excitement and high-ness, i jumped and jumped, and my earrings, ipod money etc flew out. malu, malu >_<>_< tomorrow, pamela, tomorrow. but cong jon and me still wanted the haircut. and i dragged dear rachel n tracie along. they ended up watching too-good-to-be-true people on final fantasy outside comics conenction. and i was left in the saloon : / anw i saw the reflection of cong's hair being in the towel, and i started laughing. maybe my stylist thinks im laughing at him, and he suddenly cut my hair very furiously and rapidly. xia si wo. but it turned out okay. they say its too flat for my face : / oh, and we went to eat subway for dinner. funny, funny. we all dont know how to order, so we were oh-ya-beh-ya-som-ing. and jon had to order. but somehow we still drag. and end up rachel went to order and we got our sandwich first. cashier: oh, so one foot? rachel: how big is one foot? tracie *sticks up leg and points. nevermind. anw i love their cookies! its like the nestle toll ones. that has like, become extinct. used to get them at starhub or yoshi, but. not anymore. anyone knows where they sell them???

recently, people have become very vulgar. whatever happened to virtous speaking.

im developing phobia for school. : /

they are drilling, pumping and pushing us.

everyones just caught in this bottomless well kind of thing. u just climb, climb, climb. one stage after another, u strive to reach the top of the well. but top never comes. hey, theres better than the best, aint it. climbing without any purpose, yet truckloads of motivation. i cannot comprehend this people.

ha, fourfour was being quite nice just now. : D they were like "see you on monday, must come school hor!" cause i have been sick for the past two mondays : /

it was a rather lousy day, until school ended. me ber and xin went to shop for... someone.
at plaza sing. oh, we did a really stupid thing. we ordered one box of each tako yaki flavour and started to swop until we have three different balls, when we could hv just ordered three mix ^^
we were going to sit at some corridor next to pizzahut to eat when i saw someone waving and out of reflex, i shouted "TOK!"

hehheh. its mister tok. hes greatly missed by the fourseveners. hes dining with his sportsschool student in pizzahut and we chatted. he empathises with us. and was very cute, he went "yao jiayou, jiayou, jiayou!" :D then we have to change location to eat : / cause sit outside and let them stare at us is too weird.
xin almost die-d on the shopping trip and left while we head to heeren. YOU better appreciate this, that someone, or i'll hack you. : D

thankfully, we do not have extra lessons until week nine. this is very much appreciated.

woah, didnt know i hafnt blog for such a long time.

anw thankyou NEA and NEA1 and barney for yr prayers, im feeling alot better now. woke up with a horrid sore throat yesterday. :/ went for service anw. and omg, im so amazed by ruiyong. we happen to be on the same train and while walking up from somerset, he was like 2 people in front of me. and when i reach the top, he ran across the carpark and across the road in like, 5secs or smth and disappeared from sight. o_O oh and freedy sang very well! xD im encouraged! haha. he was telling me that singing can be practised and he lived that out :D

was very touched during dctm. :D we had a walk-ard-and-affirm-people session. and it was very sweet and heartening, to know everyones in it together, and the life you lead is influencing and encouraging people elsewhere (: and we ended the meeting with praise.. just felt very joyous : D great job, everyone in northeast! froze on the bus home and went to see a doc after that.

woah, just last saturday we were still celebrating like crazy in nexus, singing "god is moving, god is moving! can you hear the sound of REVIVAL?" the scene is still very vivid. haha. esp when they suddenly annouce "units with more than ten converts- NEA!" and all of us just jumped up in unison and cheered ourselves hoarse. no cue needed. haha. and we drank that grape juice. >_<

for pamela's birthday, just go read her blog. ^^ ohya, Balcony's grilled chicken is superb : D and its not very expensive too. their small little cup of coke is 5 bucks though. -_-

guides was actually quite fun on friday. my partol was super high and we won first for the amazing race :D as much as i detest the lousy system, i do like guides to some extent. haha.

one last week

everyone's at school now >_<>meet the parents session listen-to-them-talk session was sian. cabbed down to cuppage with quek cause the rest had flagday/ meet the parents. heh. pastor ben preached and we all agree that his articulation is very very good.

gi spoke to northeast outside crazy legs bar that area. then we went to eat at le meridean's foodcourt. was very colour coded- -" yihui n trac were wearing green, zhiwei n kar black. huitian was wearing white n i was wearing.. sch u. lol.

shared testimonies during uctm. had a long worship session, will enjoy it more, if wasnt in urgent need to go to the toilet. and we went to plazasing's TCC. so very blessed ^^ cause parents had some dinner function, so i dont have to go home early. feels weird to be in full U in town at that timing though. and we dont get to sit inside, cause too big a grp. so had to compete with the roadshow with musclemen climing up a makeshift wall. (people are really so free ah)

felt very crippled cause my phones low batt, so cant take much photos too. enjoyed talking n sharing with them. and the drinks : D i had chocolate affagato, which is espresson topped with icecream. ahhh~

yesterday during caregrp, we went to share Christ ard AMK central. i partnered with pam and i think our mo qi was there. haha. we shared to these two deyi girls @ amk macs and i feel so much like a godsend. they seemed kind of down and when we shared, they seem to brighten up. its like they have been waiting for an offer of true life for a long time, but we kept them waiting for quite long ehh. it was the first time it was so successful and really, it cannot be me n pam. esp since i was so incoherent when talking.
this surge of joy of salvation was so, so great.
thank God for all the workers :D

aft cg, me, tracie, yihui and rachton went to the bubbletea place on 2nd floor of jubilee. the food was not bad, cept orange tea. lol. feel alot like taiwan. T.T

feasted on pizzahut with ying after lessons today : D
singapore doesnt just suffer from sleeping city syndrome, we have sleeping students syndrome. almost all the students are sleeping on the bus lah. i went to join them.
then i almost toinked on the guy next to me. ahhh! toink like hit head on his shoulder. super paiseh. met faith @ the interchange, heh.

great saturday

changed the layout finally. disclaimer: i know that the girl in the pict is topless, but i still think this picts really nice.


today is the best saturday this year i guess. had breakfast with peng teng n yihui. im addicted to sausage mcmuffin. anw, i really love what eelee and priscilla shared at passion meeting. woah. you really never know unless you try. was really encouraged when they opened the ground for people to share their testimonies. you see so much excitement.

praise and worship was somewhat nostlagic. sermon was really interesting. just really living the experience, and loving it. the entire service was really ministeering, left fulfilled. its only through doing His purpose i have this feeling. and it feels so good.

had a short marcom meeting. need to repent. think really have been neglecting the ministry. whoopsie. got reminded lah. and i really think that puaylin's super funny and cute, as much as teng disagrees.

was on the way to CLM with all the people then our grp kinda got separated when half of us queezed into the train and the other half decided not to. was with yihui, luan, freedy and desmond. freedy was reading conan! that episode of murder at the library and the murderer putting the corpse above the lift came back and haunt me. its a childhood thing. like pokemon origami <3>friday

aguides ATC 06

back from camp. have that sticky all over feeling ):
yesterday had to pay the cabby 12 bucks to get unto that ulu campsite, and waited for like, 1h + for him at kranji mrt lah. cause its so far in that noone really wants to go in there. argh.

but that campsite holds tonnes of memories too.
was staring at the seniors cook the trainees' dinner. if i had to cook for them, i dont think they will have any dinner. then we started crapping lah. taking spastic photos. huiyings been self obsessed recently aft her new cam. and took alot of spastic photos of me, jo and qiao. --"

aft they ate and do the duties, had campfire. its kind of more fun to be there and crazy than sitting in the seniors stands and acting cool. but feels abit too old alr. haha. sang those oh-so-familiar songs. and went off to prepare the night game.

last yr's one was definitely more fun lah. cause this yr we aint really allowed to scare the girls ):
the game is titled "my last diary". bascially they have to link the different stages of a girl's life at different stations.
jo and my station like very spas. i was acting lah. then have to talk to the doll (which is actually a pres from zy's thai partner) and keep giggling downstop lah. like pyscho. then after the 25mins, my cheeks very painful, cramp alr.
the depressing thg is that they arent really scared so its not fun.

anw i hate green bean soup.
and we realised to our horror that green beans are the babies of taugays.
okay, very lame.

that night had a long anticipated talk with dear qiao.
its kind of constructive though we had to prevent a dog from charging into the seniors tent halfway. oh yah. me n jo saw this huge spider crawling on the tent. stick ya index fingers together then yr thumbs tgt. thats the size man, no exaggeration.
by 330 am, we were spouting nonsense alr, so we went to sleep.

they couldnt wake me up this morn :X sheepish look*. they were clearing their punishments and i got awaken by the countings eventually :X though before that, i did wake up to do the 20 jumping jacks w them at 5am.


peng scared me.
she almost black out and for a long while, she couldnt see anythg, even when ailin waved her hand infront of her eyes. then i freaked, and kept on holding on and praying silently lah. kind of assured that God's hand is on her somewhat. thankfully, after a short rest, shes okay alr, and the vision came back slowly. phew.

then aft breakfast (i love strawberry jam!!) went on with the striking tent and everythg.
announce the prizes of the patrols, best camper (nafeeshah!) yadayada, then off and back to sch : D was sitting with jo ber qiao and huiying at the back. lalala.

got very grouchy in sch, because of the stupid LEAPS form.
like filled alr the other time then they reject and printed new ones but still dont knw how to fill properly. and then its like, so important to us. grr.
and while waiting for ber all 5 of us dozed off. by the time we woke up its already 320 likethat. and ber took a very long time to wake up. lol.

so the 5 of us- huiying qiao ber jo n me went to eat swensens. banana crumble is fanscinating. took neos too and stone ard and bought belts.

i miss my seniors so so much T_T

i have seen stuff at camp that really made me think alot.

on the surface a great team was potrayed

so we went for breakfast at BK. met Mrs tan (WL) and ms goh they were having breakfast there too. very weird.

ran to passion meeting. woah, i think daniel taught well.
service was good, but was very sleepy :X

i dropped my phone in nexus again.
ran back to get. met a random person dancing on the way. hurhur.
me, kar, yihui, cong and huitian went to stnicks funfair.
met evonne on the way. miss her.

anw, its madness.
st nicks funfair is such a big thing. theres so many cars lining the roads lah.
they actually have three amusement rides - -"and massage chairs.
they like issued too many coupons then have to queue like mad for one thg.

today is a super hectic day, felt very saturated.
but still managed to hit five contacts.
its really easy, its about making the effort.
and im kinda frustrated.
one tiny point and im not in..

had an interesting taxi trip after guides.
me ber jo and zy got on the cab then in a few mins, he made a very biased statement.

anw i think he's kinda cool.
he was like "ni men you ren xing zu ma?" pardon the hanyu. hes asking if we believe in Christ. so we all said yah, we all do.
then he was like "ahh hao. hen dao"
quite cool right. outreach's on his mind. and he was reminding us cannot stop going for service. so funny. if all fail, i shall be a cabdriver : D

and he also talked about his son getting married. very sweet.
"haha 28 years ago, me n my wife were just carrying a 4 month baby boy to be water baptised. we wud have never thought that 28 yrs ltr, he would be marrying another girl that got baptised on the same day!"

the breakfast at 6am with ber failed, cause she stayed up to do some guides camp stuff, and only slept 2 and a half hours. poor barney.

and after the run, we were being spastic.
the huge leaf reminds me of the one charmander likes to use to cover his tail when it rains to prevent his fire on the tail to become extinguished. so cute. : D

went shopping in town and marina sq with renying the queen for the day (its her well deserved birthday shopping spree), cixin, huishan, jasmine, ser and jaslyn. esther joined us ltr on.

im a little nuts, i know. mak bought a new wallet thats nice. and i thought the tiny compartment is for guitar pick. its actually for sim cards. hah. we blessed xin with a shirts thats very her. xD ying got tonnes of stuff.

heh. a little episode happened in caregroup today.

sunday. went for tuition and then parted with them to go for coreteam meet at RC. and met renying there! oppo RC lah i mean. ys was there in a very big circle in the living room.. we worshipped and yihui taught abt godly shepherds. amidst the scary screaming from the DLs and SDLs o.0 i wonder what they were doing. haha. saw an image of two candles. one candle is glowing w a flame, symbolising passion, and it melt a block of wax and enable the other candle to stick on the wax and stand firm. hmm.

then went to my little cousin's birthday celeb.
o m g, was super traumatised. thirty to forty little kids were screaming and being entertained by uncle magician in the living room decorated with 60 balloons. its a scary sight. jaw drop.
and the family paid like 649 for everything. T.T
imagine if every kid at the party goes back and asks for that kind of party for their birthdays. tsktsk.

i can repair my laptop with that money seh.

then me n ber went off.
and we spent more than half an hour in northpoint and more that 10 bucks on FOOD.
bought sotong balls and sotong on a stick from old chang kee and sushi, and went to sit somewhere near the footcourt.
and i went into uncle tidbits to get lollipops. and soon, ber joined me, and we spent tonnes of time there okay. and got very fanscinated by the marshmellows and very shiny gummies.
and honeysticks. and chocs. etc etc
to people that know ber, this is really abnormal lah.

the entire process of just being crazy with her, being me and talking is really nice. haha.
guides was pretty enjoyable today. entertained the secones. :D kind of funny. we were reminiscing and we made them play the haha game. the one we played during one of the peer sessions. make them lie on one anothers stomachs and go ha, haha, hahaha. etc. its very funny seeing people do it.

oh, they were instructing the sec 2 and 3s about their training camp. feel very tempted to go. its one of the best parts of guiding life, really. recalls that scene, of me ber n jo stargazing late at night. and the murder thing they staged up. good memories. if it doesnt clash with any impt thing, i shall go : D

it was a day going down until caregroup.
its so nice to chill with those people. : D just being crazy.

i heard such a sweet worship today.
the song is nice, yihui sang well, but the main thg is i could hear this voice of someone singing along. the feeling is so great, seeing yr sheep, yr shepherd and the entire cg just singing their soul out, exalting and building Him a throne of praise. esp someone who hasnt joined us for sometime.

oh. mr neo showed us this very nice musical during SS lesson. he showed us a scene in the middle, so no head no tail and i dont know what its talking about. but its really very nice. they have this very huge choir as backgrd music. and a life orchestra. and the singers were superb. its smth to do with christianity i think. they sang about mercy, and about the fallen angel. the singers expression very funny. and he open his mouth so big that it shows him with a double chin throughout xD
i love musicals. its soulful. maybe one fine day i shall go n be a little tree in a musical. lol.
